Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi Gets Anime Adaptation

Futabasha has announced that an anime adaptation of the fantasy light novel series Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi, S-Rank Bokensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madoshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru is in production. 

The anime project was first confirmed on Futabasha’s Monster label 10th Anniversary official website, with more details to be revealed at a future date.

The series originated as a web novel written by Sora Suigetsu on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2020. Futabasha began publishing the light novels with new illustrations by DeeCHA in November 2020. Six physical volumes have been released as of February 2024. 

A manga adaptation of the light novels by Wasabi Mukuno was launched on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website on January 22, 2021. Seven tankobon volumes have been released as of May 2024.

Yusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi follows a young white mage named Lloyd who has been recently banished by the hero’s party. After losing his job, he happens to join an S-rank party’s quest by chance. Although Lloyd thinks of himself as a normal adventurer, his abilities are unmatched and he gains fame as an extraordinary support magic user.
