Maybe you recognise her, maybe you don’t – but Zanmang Loopy is a cute pink-coloured beaver character from the South Korean cartoon Pororo the Little Penguin that has recently gained immense popularity for her cute appearance. And lifestyle brand Miniso has gone ahead to collaborate with the cartoon to present their first ever Loopy-themed store outside of China, located at basement one of Jewel Changi Airport.
Opened on July 3, the new store’s design features Loopy in every corner – you’ll be able to shop for Loopy-themed plush toys, night lights, keychains, pencil cases, hair accessories, and more. Apart from the Loopy merchandise, the store also carries Miniso’s popular products such as its ‘cooling’ tropical weather collection to help you keep cool in the summer, and ‘Miniso go’ collection for travellers. To commemorate the opening, there’ll also be lucky draws and promotions where shoppers can stand a chance to win free prizes and vouchers for their next purchase.
