Salt Lake City tied the record high this afternoon at 104 degrees. Record-breaking heat is likely on Thursday with a forecast high of 105 (record high of 104). Skies will be mostly sunny through the start of the weekend, and triple digits will continue through Sunday for the Wasatch Front. Moisture will begin to move into northern Utah Sunday in the form of clouds. These clouds will bring a 10 percent rain chance Sunday through Tuesday for the Wasatch Front, higher chances are in the higher elevations.
