LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The 2024 football season unofficially began Tuesday as Texas Tech was part of the opening act of participants at Big 12 Media Days held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Tahj Brooks was a popular interview throughout the day Tuesday as one of the nation’s top leading rushers and a preseason national award candidate. Brooks, who was one of five Red Raiders in attendance, handed out customized poker chips to media members, which featured his headshot on one side and a QR code to TahjTime.com directly on the back.
The promotional website launched Monday ahead of his appearance at Big 12 Media Days. The poker chip was a play off the new host city in Las Vegas.
