Nonprofit to host event, concert for arrival of the Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance
ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Warrior Legacy Ranch — a nonprofit organization that offers military veterans the opportunity to reunite with members of their unit to reconnect — is preparing to host an event for the arrival of the Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance.
The GWOT Wall of Remembrance event, sponsored by the Unus Supra CKG Foundation which supports veterans through various initiatives and events, is scheduled to take place from August 22-25.
According to a release, the event will culminate with a concert featuring a lineup of artists on August 24. The lineup is included below:
- Sal Gonzalez: A contestant from Season 9 of America’s Got Talent
- Chris Turner
- Lochridge & Co. with special guest Stephen Cochran
“This event is a unique opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy great music, and honor our veterans, service members, and their families,” event organizers said.
