LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The worlds of pop culture and anime met in Louisville on Sunday for the Louisville Anime Fest.
The annual convention stopped at Triple Crowne Pavilion and featured more than 125 vendors. There were comic books, toys, cosplay and art.
Several voice actors and characters were also there to talk with fans and take photos. There was everything from capes to light sabers.
“The anime community is nothing but amazing here,” said Blake Cameron, an Anime Fest vendor. “We love interacting with these groups. We have a wonderful member of our team who loves cosplay and we love it. We love interacting with the community and being out with all the people here.”
Some of the activities included a lip sync contest, video game tournament and a costume contest.
