It was a back and forth game but in the end La Crosse scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Ryan Kucherak.
The Loggers jumped out to a 3-0 lead but the Huskies got the bats going quickly in response taking a 7-6 lead after three innings.
Zach Wadas had a key home run to bring La Crosse closer in the third inning and the pitching tightened up as the game went on.
The Loggers have three straight home games at Copeland Park over the next three days.
