Underway this weekend is the 62nd annual Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff in downtown St. Joseph.

Krasl Events Director Jamie Balkin tells us more than 20,000 people are expected to hit up Lake Bluff Park on today and Sunday to peruse and purchase work from artists that have come in from all over the country.

If you come to downtown St. Joe this weekend, you’ll be able to visit 172 artists from throughout the United States, in 10 different mediums, including class, clay, photography, painting,” Balkin said.

Balkin says they’ll have food trucks on hand and the Krasl’s main gallery will be open. The Krasl Art Fair is the art center’s largest fundraiser each year, and although entry will be free, they’re suggesting a donation of $5. She notes the St. Joseph Farmers Market will be taking place all weekend on Broad Street while the art fair is held.

There will be no shuttles to the fair this year, and everyone’s encouraged to park somewhere nearby and walk to the bluff. Our Lady of the Lake and Trinity Lutheran will both offer paid parking, and the Berrien County Courthouse lot will be available for free.
