“Home” and “The Who’s Tommy”

Catch them before they close up shop this weekend: the Roundabout Theatre Company’s revival of “Home” and “The Who’s Tommy.” In “Home,” the optimistic Cephus Miles, played by TV star Tory Kittles from “The Equalizer,” yearns for a place to belong. In “The Who’s Tommy,” the Who’s iconic 1969 album comes to life courtesy of Tony-Winning Director Des McAnuff. Both are set to play their final performances on Sunday.

“On Beckett”

For off-Broadway, Tony winning actor and master clown Bill Irwin explores the late great Samuel Beckett in “On Beckett” at The Irish Rep. In the show, Irwin tackles the many layers of the Irish born writer, including “Waiting for Godot.” “On Beckett” is playing through Aug. 4.

“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”

At the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park in Harlem, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” is center stage courtesy of the Classical Theatre of Harlem. Join Shakespeare’s four young lovers, the zany mechanicals, and mischievous fairies for a perfect New York City evening. Tickets are free. “Midsummer” is playing through July 28.

Laura and Linda Benanti

Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti will take to the cabaret stage at 54 Below beginning on July 21 alongside her mom, Vocal Coach Linda Benanti. The mother and daughter duo will present their show titled, “Mothers Know Best” through July 24.
