First Look at Julia Garner in Apartment 7A

Julia Garner is a young dancer on the brink of fame when disturbing circumstances begin to happen around her in the first-look images at Paramount+‘s Apartment 7A.

The upcoming film, which is a prequel to the 1968 horror classic Rosemary’s Baby, is set in 1965 New York City and explores what happened in the infamous Bramford building before Rosemary (Mia Farrow) moved in.

Garner portrays Terry Gionoffrio, an ambitious young dancer who dreams of fame and fortune in New York, according to the streamer. However, after suffering a devastating injury, an older couple, portrayed by Dianne Wiest and Kevin McNally, take her into their home at the luxurious apartment building.

“When fellow resident and influential Broadway producer (Jim Sturgess, Across the Universe) offers her another chance at fame, it seems that all her dreams are finally coming true,” the description reads. “However, after an evening she can’t fully remember, disturbing circumstances soon have her second-guessing the sacrifices she’s willing to make for her career as she realizes that something evil is living not only in Apartment 7A but in the Bramford itself.”

Marli Siu (Everything I Know About Love), Andrew Buchan (All the Money in the World), Rosy McEwen (Blue Jean) and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith (Wonka) round out the cast of the Paramount+ film.

Apartment 7A is a Platinum Dunes / Sunday Night Production made in association with Paramount Pictures. The project is based on the novel Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin and directed by Relic‘s Natalie Erika James, who collaborated on the screenplay with Christian White and Skylar James. Vicki Dee Rock and Alexa Ginsburg serve as executive producers, alongside John Krasinski, Allyson Seeger, p.g.a, Michael Bay, Andrew Form, p.g.a, and Brad Fuller as producers.
