A portion of U.S. 50 was temporarily closed in Fernley due to a fatal crash involving three cars and one semi-truck.
Nevada State Police say the crash happened just after 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday near mile marker 10 near the Reno Fernley Raceway.
NSP says one car tried to pass the semi-truck unsafely.
NSP says one person was killed and three others suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
