The latest single to be released from Elles’ forthcoming album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow’ and it really is a brilliant example of just how far Ms Bailey’s talent has developed, both as a songwriter and as a singer too.
Co-written with Tamara Stewart, the tale it tells is one that most gig goers are familiar with – the talented musician who has never managed to make the breakthrough that their talent deserved. Look at almost any of the big names and you can be sure that there was a point in their career that they either went on to success or backwards to this.
It has the feel of Ralph McTell or John Prine, but with her smoky voice and top skills of her full band. All put together to make for a terrific single.

Elles will be making her Glastonbury debut this weekend and I’m sure this will go down a storm with her followers.
