As fallout from President Biden’s debate performance continues, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) will meet with House Democrats from competitive districts Tuesday morning, ahead of a 9 a.m. meeting of the full House Democratic caucus at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. There — without their phones, in an attempt to prevent real-time leaks — they will discuss how they feel about Biden remaining the nominee. Senate Democrats are expected to discuss Biden’s future as the party’s nominee at their weekly lunch Tuesday. Biden, meanwhile, is scheduled to give a speech commemorating the 75th anniversary of NATO at the alliance’s summit Tuesday evening in Washington.
