d4vd doesn’t hold back. On record, or onstage, he’s an artist who needs to work in the moment, and speak his truth.
2023 EP ‘Petal To Thorns’ marked a fresh high, and it’s been followed by a string of singles – the majestic ‘Withering’ for example, or this year’s ‘Feel It’.
Taking his My House Is Not A Home tour to Europe, d4vd played an all-too-rare headline show in London, packing out Camden’s landmark KOKO venue.
Photographer Pablo Santana was on hand to capture the action, matching onstage shots against some intimate backstage portraits.
We’re able to present the snaps in full, alongside d4vd’s excellent new single ‘There Goes My Baby’. Out now, he comments…
“This is a song I wrote about letting go of someone you love and letting them become their own person. Watching them become that person and realising that you may have been the problem, but also being happy for the person they’ve become. It’s a mature view on losing someone to someone else.”
Tune in now.
