BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County’s excessive heat risk is still high as Friday’s temperatures are expected to near the 100 degree mark.
Expect a high of 98 Thursday in Kern County. Mountain communities will see temperatures in the mid 90s.
Temperatures are expected to spike at 99 degrees Friday in Bakersfield. The excessive heat risk will be in the moderate range as a high of 94 is expected Saturday and a high of 92 degrees on Father’s Day.
