Another month ahead for the Sylacauga Farmers Market

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – “Eat Fresh, Eat Local” is the long-standing promotional phrase for farmers markets across the state of Alabama, which means that you can “pick” from among a host of local grower-vendors.

In Sylacauga, that happens every Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in Central Park, across from Blue Bell Creameries. The 2024 season got started the first Friday after Memorial Day, and it continues for (at least) another month, as long as the current crops hold out.

Find home-grown, in-season vegetables and fruits, including fresh Chilton County peaches, along with fresh eggs, herbs, home-baked goods, and lots more! Get it while it’s fresh!
