Though torn jeans were having a moment at one point in the last few years, the trend passed long before Amy posted this Instagram video of herself wearing a particularly ratty pair in November 2023. Amy certainly doesn’t have to be a slave to trends, and people should always wear what they want, but the torn pair of skin-tight jeans simply does nothing for the 1000-lb Sisters star. Since Amy had gastric bypass surgery and lost 125 pounds, she can easily purchase wide-leg jeans that are far more popular, comfortable, and flattering.

More Intentionally Torn Clothing

She used to prefer being indoors to going outside, but since losing weight, Amy has been so much more active. She’s more of an outdoors person. She can often be found taking her two adorable little boys to the park – she’s attempting to teach them health habits.
