PM Update: Summertime heat returns this weekend

A beautiful day unfolded after lingering morning clouds and a couple showers. It’ll continue to be quite delightful into the night. As far as pleasant weather, our time is unfortunately limited, though the transition back to hotter is a slow roll through the weekend. If possible, you might want to find some time outdoors this evening.

Through Tonight: Some mainly mid- and high-level clouds float by through and beyond sunset, probably diminishing with time. Otherwise, there’s not much to think about with the weather, other than it being nice. Lows range across the 60s, perhaps even in D.C., where a 70 wouldn’t be surprising.

Tomorrow (Saturday): More sun than clouds, and maybe by a lot. Highs mainly reach the upper 80s to around 90. With dew points in the 50s, humidity is pretty low for the time of year. Winds will probably blow lightly from the north and northeast.

Sunday: If anything, there might be more sun than Saturday. Mostly low 90s locally in the afternoon, with a range of about 89 to 94. Humidity is up a bit but still on the low side for the end of July, so it shouldn’t add much to the feels-like temperatures. Winds will be turning to come from the south.
