Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk’s much-talked-about comedy entertainer, Bad Newz, released last Friday and had a decent first weekend at the box office worldwide. However, the film’s collection was no match for trade expectations, considering the amount of buzz the film had created prior to its release.

As per the latest trade reports, Bad Newz had a decent Monday at the box office. The film collected a nett amount of Rs 3.75 crore at the ticket counters across the country. The film’s total 4-day collection is Rs 34.40 crore. The film needs to gain momentum and perform well from now on to be termed a box office hit. The film is performing well at multiplexes and metros, while mass audiences are giving the film a miss.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is produced by Karan Johar along with Amazon Prime. Triptii’s titillating act and her chemistry with Vicky Kaushal are the main talking points of the movie.
