Nice weather Thursday & Friday prior to the weekend rain

AND LUKE. I IMAGINE TODAY’S PROBABLY NOT A DAY WHEN YOU WANT TO SIT DOWN AND WATCH ALL THAT. NO. ABSOLUTELY NOT. IN JULY, TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 80S RIGHT NOW. YEAH. GET OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THAT. WELL, UH, HAVE PLENTY OF TIME INDOORS WITH THE WET WEATHER THAT WILL BE AHEAD AS WE MOVE CLOSER TO THE WEEKEND. SO HERE ARE OUR STRETCH OF IMPACT DAYS HERE FRIDAY NIGHT AND REALLY INTO MONDAY. THAT’S OUR STRETCH OF WET WEATHER AS AN UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM MOVES OVER OUR AREA. SOME SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE, BUT THE SEVERE RISK WITH MOST OF THESE LOOKS LOW, YOU’LL JUST HAVE ON AND OFF RAIN. IT WON’T BE A WASHOUT COMPLETELY FROM FRIDAY NIGHT TO MONDAY, JUST SOME RAIN THAT WILL BE HERE IN THE FORECAST. WE’LL TALK MORE ABOUT IN A MINUTE. OMA HENRY DOORLY ZOO SKYCAM. YOU CAN SEE A FEW OF THOSE PUFFY CUMULUS CLOUDS, BUT OF COURSE IT’S MORE SUNSHINE THAN CLOUDS OUTSIDE RIGHT NOW. 82 DEGREES. OUR CURRENT TEMPERATURE. ALSO, LOOK AT THAT DEW POINT ANYTIME IN THE 50S IN JULY. I MEAN, I CONSIDER US LUCKY HERE. IT DOESN’T FEEL STICKY OUTSIDE. THAT’S FOR SURE. 80 FOR PLATTSMOUTH IN NEBRASKA CITY, 81 IN RED OAK AND HARLAN, 82 FOR TEKAMAH LINCOLN AND IN FREMONT COLUMBUS. YOU’RE AT 80 DEGREES HOUR BY HOUR FORECAST. IF YOU’RE HEADED OUT TO JAZZ ON THE GREEN TONIGHT, OR ANY OUTDOOR PLANS. JUST BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE ALL THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD HERE. 7:00 78 DEGREES. BY THE TIME WE GET TO 9:00, WE’LL PROBABLY BE IN THE MID OR THE LOW 70S OUTSIDE. AND THEN WE START TOMORROW MORNING AT ABOUT 60 DEGREES. SO YOU MIGHT WANT THE HOODIE IF YOU’RE GOING OUT THE DOOR EARLY. BUT ONCE WE GET INTO THE AFTERNOON WE WILL WARM UP PLENTY. GETTING A HIGH TEMPERATURE THERE NEAR 83 DEGREES. SO AGAIN THAT IS STILL A LITTLE BIT BELOW OUR SEASONAL AVERAGE. IT’S GOING TO BE NICE OUT, BUT ONE THING YOU WILL NOTICE IS THE CLOUDS WILL INCREASE THROUGHOUT THE DAY A LITTLE BIT. AND WE’LL GET A LITTLE BIT MORE MOISTURE IN HERE AS WELL. SO THIS IS WHERE WE’RE GOING TO GO THROUGH STORM PREDICTOR HERE. SHOW YOU WHAT THE WEEKEND LOOKS LIKE. AND WHEN YOU COULD SEE SHOWERS AND STORMS FOR FRIDAY, IT LOOKS LIKE WE HOLD OFF ON THE SHOWERS AND STORMS UNTIL A LITTLE BIT LATER. MORE TOWARDS THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. BUT YOU WILL NOTICE THE CLOUDS WILL INCREASE, ESPECIALLY AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS SATURDAY. THAT’S WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE UPPER LEVEL LOW. THIS MODEL JUST HAS IT SPINNING A LITTLE BIT OVER US. THERE’S 5:00. SATURDAY IS PROBABLY OUR BETTER CHANCE TO HAVE A STORM IN HERE. MAYBE A FEW THUNDER SHOWERS IF YOU WILL. AND THEN SUNDAY, THAT SYSTEM STILL SITTING RIGHT OVER US. SO IT’S STILL GOING TO BE WET. IT’S GOING TO BE GLOOMY OUTSIDE AND THEN ON AND OFF. SHOWERS WILL PROBABLY BE THERE THROUGHOUT SUNDAY AS WELL. AND THEN SOME OF THAT COULD CONTINUE INTO MONDAY. BUT I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THE TEMPERATURES HERE. I MEAN, FRIDAY 83. LOOK AT HOW WE DROP ON SATURDAY JUST FROM THE CLOUD COVER AND THE RAIN 75 SUNDAY 77. I MEAN, A STRING OF 70 IN JULY YOU WON’T SEE VERY OFTEN. AND THEN WE’RE BACK UP TO THE 80S KIND OF WHEN THE SYSTEM CLEARS OUT A LITTLE BIT MORE DRIER PATTERN TOWARDS THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK, AS WE SEE A LITTLE BIT MORE SUNSHINE. AND THAT’S ALSO WHEN TEMPERATURES START CREEPING UP BACK TO WHERE THEY SHOULD BE THIS TIME OF YEAR. THE MID TO UPPER 80S. SO I MEAN, ONE THING THAT WE CAN TAKE FROM THIS RAINY WEATHER THAT WILL BE NICE IS THE TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S. WE HAVEN’T SEEN THAT IN QUITE SOME TIME. YEAH, ACTUALLY IT’S GOING TO BE NICE LIKE THIS. LET’S SCOUT OUT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. AND TODAY USUALLY HE’S BEEN LIKE, NOPE, DON’T WANT TO GO OUT TOO HOT TODAY. HE’S LIKE, LET ME OUT THERE FOR
