Accenture acquires Logic to boost retail tech transformation

Professional services company Accenture has entered an agreement to acquire Logic, a company specialising in retail technology services.  

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US, Logic collaborates with retailers to drive customer loyalty and boost revenue and agility using technology. 

Operating in 11 countries and serving more than 150 retail clients globally, Logic has capabilities in merchandising, stores, digital, analytics and cloud. 

The acquisition will integrate 800 Logic professionals with knowledge in retail-focused technical strategies into Accenture Technology.  

The deal complements Accenture’s efforts in facilitating technology transformations for retail clients worldwide.

The completion of the acquisition is pending customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.  

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
