The Marilyn McCormick Summer Youth Workshop will be offered starting Monday and running Monday through Friday until July 26 at the Ferndale Repertory Theatre.
This program will help youth grow their theater skills, with the workshop culminating in a public performance featuring both groups at 2 p.m. July 26.
Kids ages 8 to 12 meet from 9 a.m. to noon for the two-week session and teens 13 to 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. Participants will start each day with warm-ups and theater games, then they’ll engage in hands-on learning with the “topic of the day.” Topics include costume and scenic design, prop building, lighting, directing and more. The instructor is Jessie Gelormino, with others also teaching as well.
The cost is $150. To sign up, email info@ferndalerep.org or call 707-786-5483.
