OTF president refutes claims of inequality in Oceania tennis

The president of the Oceania Tennis Federation, Cyrille Mainguy, is defending the organisation against allegations from one of their own, who claims that male and female players are not being treated equally. 

The claims come from Dan O’Connell who has a long association with tennis in the Pacific and is a past secretary-general of the OTF. 

Mr Mainguy conceded that money was tight and that tennis in the region was hit hard by the pandemic, but insisted that allegations of discrimination did not stand up.
