Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce continues business leadership series this Thursday

The Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce will continue its leadership series to benefit businesses.

Membership director Jenifer Bohanan said part two of the series will be held on Thursday, July 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Stuttgart Public Library. The series focuses on improving workplace environments.

“Everybody wants cohesiveness in their workplace. I think this leadership series is a great way to get that,” Bohanan said.

Dr. Jeff Standridge, Managing Director for the Conductor, Co-founder of Cadron Capital Partners, and an Entrepreneurial Finance and Innovation Leadership teacher in the College of Business at the University of Central Arkansas, will lead the session.

“He is a great speaker. He will be speaking on situational leadership,” Bohanan said.

Each leadership series session features a different topic and guest presenter.

“There will be three speakers, speaking on leadership and the workplace environment. You do not have to have been to any of them,” Bohanan said.

The final session is tentatively set for Thursday, October 10. The chamber previously hosted a recurring Networking at Noon event. The leadership series is the chamber’s newest way to connect area businesses and offer support.

“The last one we had was very interactive, and we feel like this one coming up will be interactive. It is a lot of fun and very laid back,” Bohanan said.
