FENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJRT) – Investigators are looking into the death of a 33-year-old in Fenton Township.
Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson reported the incident occurred at a home near Thompson and Jennings roads around 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Swanson said the case is being treated as a homicide following reports of gunfire in the area, but there was no further threat to the community Saturday evening. A Michigan State Police Crime Lab was on the scene.
Authorities were searching for a newer model orange Chevrolet Camaro in connection with the investigation. Anyone with information should contact the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department.
