GHENT – The summer season has arrived at Art Omi and the museum is ready to party!
Come celebrate the beginning of summer at Art Omi, Saturday, July 6, at both the Newmark Gallery and the outdoor Sculpture and Architecture Park, from 5 to 8 p.m. with the unveiling of five new sculptures to the Sculpture and Architecture Park and the exhibition opening of Nathan Young’s “Tune It Or Die!” inside the Newmark Gallery.
In addition, viewers can check out the commissioned works made by artists Riley Hooker and Kiyan Williams, architects Beom Jun Kim and Jimenez Lai, and the American premiere of Germane Barnes’ critically acclaimed Venice Biennale commission.
Although the summer party is free, advanced registration is appreciated.
