The Southington Summer Youth Theater Program is performing ‘Heathers: The Musical’ on Friday and Saturday.

SOUTHINGTON, CT — 1980s kids might want to think about attending a special performance Friday and Saturday of the Southington Summer Youth Theater Program.
That’s because the summer theater program is performing “Heathers: The Musical,” which is based on the 1989 dark comedy film that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater back in the day.
The movie is about the twisted world of a 1980s-era high school and the complicated social hierarchy of the girls attending school there.
Tickets are only $5 each and the shows are at 7 p.m. Friday, July 26, and Saturday, July 27, at JFK Middle School, 1071 S. Main St., Plantsville (Southington).
They are available at the door or The Calendar House, 388 Pleasant St.
